The bulk of goods weighing 2 carats or more are CVD. Goods below 2 carats are CVD and HPHT.
HPHT goods are traded at a discount to CVD goods.
Prices do not represent high-volume purchases, which result in significant discounts.
Prices are collected from a variety of dealers.
CVD stands for the Chemical Vapor Deposition method of creating lab-grown diamonds. HPHT stands for high pressure and high temperature.
